i just noticed that my last post was done on july the 8th of this year. a day later, i lost my job. yep, fired............wrongfully. currently, i have filed a suit with EEOC and they have served my ex boss. they have another 15 days to respond with a settlement, or EEOC will take them to court, and i will get what i ask for. i cannot get another job until this is resolved. so i am just plugging along, depending on others to pay my bills. sigh.
i hope to get a new computer by christmas, and can be back online. i miss everyone here and on my other sites.
about 3 months ago, i entered a poetry contest in a rhode island magazine that supports and helps promote help for the homeless there, and out of 34 entries, judged blindly (without names attached), i won............i got a $50 gift certificate at anywhere of my choice...........i chose walmart.....hey, i need gas and essentials, like food.............lol. i also got my poem printed in their magazine and a certificate for framing, as well as 2 copies of the magazine. i have never won a monetary prize with my poetry before.........i was so excited. ok, i will calm down. it is late and i am getting sleepy. so better scoot.

so pleased to see you back with us. Have missed you and was worried about you. don;t leave it so long next time...Sorry about the job, however some good might come out of it in the end..keep us posted
